VISA

COME IN!

If you decide to subscribe for our DJ/producer mastercourse of three months, you might need a Visa. Citizens from Europe do not need a Visa (so called Schengen countries). Citizens from Brazil, U.S.A., Singapore and United Kingdom also do not need a Visa.

You do need to request a Visa for The Netherlands if you are a citizen in one of the countries in this list (click). You can request this Visa at a Dutch consulate or embassy from The Netherlands in your country. With a Visa you are allowed to travel within Schengen countries (Europe) for 180 days. *Pro DJ School is not responsible about any given Visa information. Students from evey country outside The Netherlands need to analyze their own individual situation about legal issues.

HOUSING AND LIVING

1. (We recommend) The Amsterdam Student hotel makes it possible to book a room for a minimum of 3 weeks. This is unique compared to other international capitals `like London and New York who have a minimum of 6 months. The Amsterdam Student hotels offers dinner during your stay. Plus you get a free Wifi and a bike to use while you are in bicycle friendly Amsterdam.

2. Friends or family is an option to stay with if you have them in The Netherlands.

  • The Student Company offers a meal plan where you can have dinner.
  • At our education location it is possible to buy lunch for 3 euros per day.
  • Amsterdam has a lot of bars and restaurants.
  • Cooking yourself is also an option.

HOME AND AWAY!

Schiphol Amsterdam Airport belongs among the biggest airports in Europe. So it has good possibilities to fly from your country to The Netherlands and back home again when you are finished with your course here. You can look for ticket and dates here: Skyscanner.com, Adioso.com, Momondo.com

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

LET’S GO SOMEWHERE!

It costs 3 euros from the Student Hotel to go and come back by metro to our location in Amsterdam. This takes 9 minutes only. In total, from door to door, travel takes 20 minutes. You use a card to travel. It is an anonymous card which you can buy at Ticket Vending Machines at metro stations or at many tobacco specialty shops (such as Primera).
